Help
The same day, year after year, with the person you used to be. Keep one line today. Next year it waits under the one you write then.
Keeping today
Write a line on the Today tab and tap Keep today. A story, a feeling, or a weather word — any one of the three makes an entry. A day with a single word on it is a whole entry.
Why choose words
If irritation and resentment and worry all come out as "mad," you can't tell them apart later. 284 feeling words are sorted into 21 groups by how close they sit. You look up the ones you know, and you meet the ones you don't while reading down a group.
I missed yesterday
Once today is kept, tap Add a past day at the bottom of the screen — it opens the calendar on yesterday. You can also tap a date in the calendar and use Write this day.
I want to fill in an earlier year
Tap a date in the calendar and choose Add this day in another year. Any year from 1900 to this one is open. Days that haven't arrived yet are left out.
Editing an entry
Tap the entry itself and it opens. There is no separate edit button.
Deleting an entry
In Calendar, swipe the entry left and Delete appears. You'll be asked once more first. A deleted entry can't be recovered.
Moving or keeping your entries
Settings → Export a backup opens the share sheet right away. Two files go out — a JSON for restoring and a TXT you can just read — with the export date in their names. Both are common formats, so they open without 10iary.
Importing takes the JSON file. Days you've already kept are left alone — only empty days are filled. When it's done, you'll see how many days were imported.
I'm changing devices
Turn on iCloud sync in Settings and you can pick up where you left off on another device signed in to the same Apple account. If it was off, carry a backup file over.
Reminders aren't arriving
Check iOS Settings → 10iary → Notifications to see whether they're allowed. Once you decline, the app cannot ask again.
Why are there no streaks or completion rates
They were left out on purpose. A missed day stays missed. Nothing counts the days you skipped or asks you again.
